When to Integrate Your Website With Third-Party Services
We have developed many websites for associations who hold special events or manage events for others. All of them come with their own set of requirements and requests, and our combination of WordPress and either Gravity Forms or WooCommerce often check those boxes. Sometimes, however, the event needs enhanced features or functionality that require support of third-party services.
Such is the case with Osborne ETA Symposium. Created as an annual convening point for the entrepreneurship through action ecosystem, our clients—Promise Partners and MJM Services—wanted a new site that not only highlighted the energy of the event, but also provided advanced functionality for symposium attendees and organized.
To make this happen, Dynamics Online identified Whova as the best third-party event management option for integration with our custom-designed WordPress site. Whova allows our clients to easy update event details (e.g. speaker/sponsor information, registration costs) and accept and process reservations through Whova’s system, which is then displayed in real time at the Osborne ETA website.
Whova also builds-in many advanced features that our clients were able to utilize, such as the ability for symposium attendees to communicate directly through the website integration. And we were able to provide all of this to the client at a cost much lower than if a custom solution for these features was programmed.
If you or your clients have an event coming up and would like help locating the best third-party solution for your specific web registration and management goals, let us help!
